Whenever I am making soup or chili, I whip up a batch of my homemade baguette! I love it! So easy! From pantry to oven to mouth in 25-30 min!
I decided to play around with the recipe a bit. Which can always be dangerous For my first alteration I just sprinked some dried rosemary (one of my favorite herbs!) into the dough right before I twisted it. Verdict- Eh.
And that’s coming from someone who loves rosemary! I think if I would’ve used fresh rosemary and added it when I was mixing that it might have been better. I mean, I still ate it, but the rosemary leaves poked through and were tough to chew.
I have also tried this recipe with minced garlic. Verdict- DELICIOUS! If you like garlic bread! I separated the dough into balls then kneaded added a few teaspoons of minced garlic into each ball. Then rolled them out and twisted together!
If you have never tried this baguette before…do it! It’s so simple! Then mess around with it, add what you like and change it a bit! Let me know how it turns out!
