I found it! I found a recipe that is so so so simple and so so so easy and everyone likes it! Crescent Sandwiches, or cresandwiches!
If you don’t feel like cooking, this recipe is perfect! Grab a few cans of crescent rolls, your favorite lunch meat and cheese, and any sandwich topping you might like! I am going to try my next round with banana peppers…hopefully from my friend’s garden…hint hint 😉
What you need:
2-3 cans of crescent rolls
1/2 pound of ham or turkey or chicken breast
1/2 pound of salami or whatever meats you like
1/3 pound of your favorite cheese
any other sandwich toppings you like
P.S. I picked up all my ingredients from ALDI!! My new favorite grocery store..because ya know…I love saving money! (You can read all about my trip to the ALDI head quarters here!)
Here’s what you do:
Pre-heat the oven to 350 degrees.
Open the crescent rolls pressurized packaging without screaming like a spider just landed on your shoulder. I mean…seriously..I hate opening those cans!!
Make a rectangle by putting two triangles together…like so…
Pile your meats and cheese and all your tasty ingredients.
Fold the two ends of the rectangle to the middle and squish together. Place sandwich roll on baking sheet.
Bake for about 15 min. or until golden brown. Remove. Let cool down a bit…and enjoy! I served mine with slices of watermelon for an easy summer dinner! But paired with this soup…and you have an amazing fall meal!
