What do you do on a busy school night, when it’s cold outside and you just don’t want to cook? Head to Frisch’s of course!! We are right smack dab in the middle of the crazy holiday season…which means, shopping, deliveries, school performances, huge drops in temperature, and I have to say…a night off from cooking is just what the doctor ordered! And thanks to Frisch’s new menu items…comfort food did it’s job without me having to wash a single dish!
The new dinners are just $7.99 and they will warm your body and soul! There’s Carved Turkey, country fried chicken, county fried steak, roast beef and meatloaf! Each comes with creamy mashed potatoes, gravy, green beans and a yummy roll. I tried the country fried chicken…and there wasn’t a bite left!
Here’s a little tid bit that you might not have known…
Did you know that from the very first performance of “The Nutcracker” in 1974, Frisch’s Restaurants has been the Cincinnati Ballet’s primary sponsor! It is one of the longest-lasting examples of corporate sponsorship in American arts history! As part of that partnership, Frisch’s worked with members of the Cincinnati Ballet to launch Frisch’s first-ever holiday edition of its best-selling dessert!
And well, we just had to try it out! The limited edition Peppermint Hot Fudge Cake! I was just as excited, but kept my mouth closed! haha
HAHA needless to say…it was DELICIOUS!
Peppermint Hot Fudge Cake is available for a limited time (until Feb.7) This is the first time since this original dessert debuted in restaurants in 1970 that it has been offered in another flavor. (Original fudge cake also still available at restaurants.)
Have a wonderful Christmas everyone!!
