Ah organizing! I do love a good plan. It is the type A-ness in me. That is probably why I loved BabyWise so much, for my first kid at least. By the time number three came scheduling the a eat/wake/nap cycle kinda went out the window. Thankfully.
Although I feel great about my kid’s daily schedule, I feel like I have so many “things” to juggle and I end up dropping some important balls. I have made many versions of my daily schedule before, even weekly and monthly ones, and they never really stick.
So here goes round…who’s counting!
This is just for the weekdays. Weekends are reserved for Family Time!
7:00am- Read Bible and Pray
7:30-10 – Breakfast, clean up from breakfast, get ready for the day
10:30-12 – *Work, office hours (bills, blog, phone calls, ect), school or outing (depends on the day)
12:30 – 3 – Lunch then either workout, office hours, school, and/or rest
3:30-4:30 – clean something (vacuum, bathrooms, kitchen, ect.) each day or so it is different so I don’t have to do it all in one day
4:30 -6 – Make and eat then clean up from dinner!
6-7:30 – Family Time
7:30 – Kids to bed
8-10:30 – Mom and Dad time 😉
*I do work outside the home, but only about 10 hours a week, so my days are a bit different from each other.
A schedule is important, but a flexible one is the only kind that will work for me. I don’t need to feel guilty for not sticking to a self made schedule. 🙂 I also leave extra time for each “category” on purpose, just for extra wiggle room, to run errands, catch up, ect.
Do you have a schedule or are you more “fly by the seat of your pants”? What does it look like? Does it work for you? I know mine always could use improving 🙂
