There are a few recipes that followed the Mr. into our marriage. Pizza bread is one of them. You may have seen it on one of my monthly menu plans! I don’t know what they call it “pizza bread”, it’s more like a calzone or some sort of stuffed bread. I have yet to make it with pepperorni or any “pizza” type ingredients. Regardless, it was a regular for him growing up, and it has become a family favorite around our home too! It’s so so so easy!
You can check out the mini version here!
What you need.
Frozen dough (make your own or buy it!)
Pasta sauce or taco seasoning (depending on what you are in the mood for)
Meat and/or veggies and/or anything you want to put in it
What you do
Thaw the frozen dough
Cook the meat
Roll the dough (Thinking about this Rolling Pin!)
Fill the dough
Braid the dough
Cook the dough (I just use a regular cookie pan!)
Eat the bread!
Here are step by step pics!
First of all, here is the dough I use. Not the healthiest, but all things in moderation right It is so easy and that means more time with the family, which is healthy
Roll it out!
Cook the meat! This time I did taco pizza bread!
I cut mine in two this time, but you can keep it one big one too!
Put whatever you want in the middle. Cut the sides of the dough and overlap the flaps together.
Overlapping the flaps!
Cook it at 350 or 375 for 25 min!
