The primary function of the liver is to detoxify the body from harmful substances and make food nutrients usable. The liver filters blood before it’s recirculated. This is an essential role in the digestive process. It’s also responsible for many vital functions, including storing iron, making protein for the body, fighting infections by creating immune factors and removing toxins and bacteria from your blood.

Fatty liver disease is a condition where the liver has an abnormally high level of fat. A healthy human being has a very small amount of fat in his liver. Some foods and lifestyle changes may also be helpful in maintaining a healthy liver. Sometimes, minor lifestyle changes can provide relief. But, don’t take this disease lightly.
